The Mulvane Art Museum holds over one hundred works by Kansas siblings Adeline Peers (1889–1973) and Frank Peers (1891–1938). The two grew up together in Topeka and attended what was then known as Washburn College. Afterward, they pursued different careers—Frank as a commercial illustrator and Adeline as a bacteriologist—though they shared an interest in art throughout their lives. Reviving Connections brings together a small selection of works that highlight some of their artistic interests, including a shared passion for capturing their travels around the world.
