In This Place: American Land examines the relationship between people and place in the United States. From bountiful farmland to towering cities, from awe-inspiring vistas to sleepy suburbs, the works picture the vast range of scenery that we call home. Discover how artists have taken inspiration from the flora, fauna, and natural landforms of this diverse country. Consider themes including cultivation, industrialization, and border-crossing as you explore art that spans mediums and time periods.

In This Place: American Land is the second in a series of exhibitions from 2024 to 2026 that examine American histories, experiences, and identities through the Mulvane collection.
