Join us for a closing celebration of the Washed Ashore project, an exhibit in Topeka this summer featuring sculptures made of ocean debris! We'll have so much for you to explore and enjoy outside and inside the museum, including:
- StoneLion Puppet Theatre recycled art workshops beginning at 11:15am and 1pm
- The Kansas Children's Discovery Center's Mobile Museum
- A Washburn Ecobods booth
- Ice cream from Flint Hills Pints
- Ocean and butterfly-themed face paints
A special monarch butterfly sculpture created by Topeka Public School students will be on view in the Art Lab, where you can also join our regular creative activities!
Free and open to the public.
